The Holdfast Playing chair built and dry fit, then taken apart and sent to you for final assembly. Final assembly is about 1-2 hours of fun work depending on your wood working experience. It includes glueing up 7 easy joints and tapping wedges in with a standard hammer. Then a little sanding (if desired) and finishing with my standard wipe on finish. I provide wood glue, wedges, sandpaper and wipe on finish (linseed oil + beeswax polymer).

I also provide an instructional video walking through each step. This is a great gift option for the woodworking musician in your life, or if you’ve always wanted to try chair-making! This is a seriously great little chair:)

Please allow 4-6 weeks from date of order. The chairs are made in small batches so it just depends on what I have in stock.
